He also chose me to exclusively stand beside him during the 5 minute ceremony they had. I thought that was pretty nice of him! Congratulations to Zach and Amanda! I watched the CMA awards the other night. Yes, there is some country music that I like, and I don’t feel I will go to hell for it. I just like talented artists. No matter what genre. But apparently the CMA is struggling. Seems anyone gets signed anymore. They’re huge for a year, then they’re gone when people realize that their albums are over-produced and in real life, they just can’t sing good. It disappoints me. Remember when Garth was huge (in a fame way) and EVERYONE in country music sounded different? You turned on the radio and whether you had heard the song or not, you knew EXACTLY who it was singing. Even if you weren’t a big country fan. So what this all boils down to is my question… Where are all the true country music artists? Where are the ones that define themselves as individuals and not carbon-copies of what’s being successful?

Enough of country music. We played last night in GA and 7 people were saved! BIGGEST news of the week for SURE! That never fails to make my night EVERY night. My new drums are finished and being shipped to me as we speak. My new kick drum is pretty big and I am excited to slam it one good time (Thanks to John @ Orange County Drums… http://www.ocdrum.com ). Ohio State and Michigan play next weekend (us Buckeyes like to refer to this game as the only “championship” that matters). Sorry Kristi! Anyway, I am excited about that. Although, I don’t think it will be much of a game. Kind of wish it would be, though. The Bucks need at least SOME competition this year. I’d like to see them in a good fight.

Anyway, I am out. Gotta take that shower. We play tonight. I think we’re in GA still. I pray it’s a good one and that MANY lives are touched! God bless everyone! Everyone bless God!
